I split my time between working on the OIT Web Team and the Disabilities and Computing Program (DCP).
For DCP, I train on assistive technology for students with disabilities. I also help scan UCLA websites and help campus webmasters adapt their sites to make sure they follow WCAG and Section 508 Guidelines.
Previous to working at UCLA, I worked at the University of Illinois – Chicago where I built their campus web accessible template, and UC San Diego where I built the site for The Brain Observatory. Prior to that I worked in the private sector for ABN AMRO where I specialized in ColdFusion programming, turning paper processes into electronic & web interfaces.
I am an alumni from the University of Missouri, Columbia where I graduated with a BSED in Education Technology and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis.
