Cloud computing service is the delivery of computing resources including applications, servers, storage, databases, networking, analytics, and artificial intelligence over the internet. This workshop series will provide hands-on tutorials to demonstrate cloud services as an alternative computing resource for academic researchers. We will cover two leading cloud services, Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The topics include: an introduction, compute instances, interactive computing, storage, and setting up an HPC cluster in the clouds.
