Institute for Digital Research and Education
Are you interested in displaying data? Do you want to make your charts and graphs understandable? Do you want to recognize when charts, graphs, and maps are manipulating the truth? If so, this is the workshop for you! We will look at using python pandas to create graphs and charts from tabular data, and how to publish these results as images and to the web. We will discuss different strategies of showing data, examples of misrepresenting data, and tips and techniques for honestly presenting your findings while telling an accessible and cohesive story with your data.
Any questions about this workshop can be emailed to Ryan Horne at rmhorne@ucla.edu.
