Workshop will be conducted in Zoom. Invites are sent out the day before the workshop.
SAS is a powerful statistical package that runs on many platforms, including Windows and Unix. This class is designed for people who are just getting started using SAS. The students in the class will have a hands-on experience using SAS for statistics, graphics, and data management. The SAS class notes do not contain any of the computer output. The class notes are not meant to be a SAS textbook or a reference manual. However, it is possible for individuals to use the class notes to help in learning SAS even if they don’t enroll in the class.
The workshop notes are here: https://stats.idre.ucla.edu/sas/seminars/notes/
Students should have access to SAS. There are several ways to access SAS, including having SAS installed on your computer (meaning that you purchased a license for SAS); using SAS University Edition (https://www.sas.com/en_us/software/university-edition.html ); or via the CLICC Virtual Desktop (https://docs.library.ucla.edu/display/LSD/Access+a+CLICC+Virtual+Desktop ) (available only to those who are currently affiliated with UCLA).
If you have any further questions regarding the workshop, please contact Stats Group, (IDREstat@ucla.edu).
