This workshop will illustrate using the Julia language [1] in data-driven modeling and computations. Specifically, we will review the basic Julia language constructs for numerical computing, then discuss 4 examples:
1) Exploring COVID-19 dataset – data wrangling and visualization
2) Image compression using singular value decomposition
3) Solving differential equations
4) Dynamical systems
