Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling Using Stata

This talk will introduce the concepts and jargon of structural equation modeling (SEM).  We will demonstrate how to fit SEMs for continuous outcomes using the -sem- command in Stata.  We will also demonstrate how use Stata’s -gsem- command to fit multilevel structural equation models that include continuous, binary, multinomial, ordinal and count outcomes using a wide variety of link functions.
