IDRE is jointly sponsored by two offices at UCLA:

• The Office of Advanced Research Computing (OARC) supports and enhances the university mission of education, research, and service through the development and execution of innovative and sustainable technology practices, programs, services, infrastructure, policies, and partnerships.
• The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) seeks to support research activity at UCLA. The office is divided into three subdivisions: Office of Research Administration functions, Vice Chancellor for Research functions, and Office of Intellectual Property and Industry Sponsored Research functions.
